Education and ethical training is a critical need of every human being. Be it a man or a woman – not being suitably educated is the root of most evils. Infact, education in Islam is one of the most important pillars upon which the edifice of a civilized society is raised. The glorious age of Islamic civilization is replete with numerous remarkable instances of intellectual & educational contributions of Muslim women for the constructive progress of the society without contravening the natural demarcations set by divine decree.

Abu Sa‘id al-Khudri reports that some women said to the Holy Prophet (blessings and peace be upon him): ‘men have gone ahead of us (in terms of acquisition of knowledge). Therefore, appoint a special day for our benefit as well.’ The Holy Prophet (blessings and peace be upon him) then fixed one day for them. He (blessings and peace be upon him) would meet them on that day, advise them and educate them about commandments of Allah Almighty. [Narrated by al-Bukhari in al-Sahih, 1:50.]

Following this noble tradition, a primary education center for women has been established for the education of women in the nearby villages. Alhamdulillah 35 sisters are being taught the basic tenets of Islam with an emphasis being given to etiquettes of living.
